At the end of 2022, Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies was awarded a multi-million-dollar contract to supply its Optima® Vertical Landing System (OVLS), remote tie in equipment incorporating our OPTIMA® and DUOSEAL® patented technologies for the WAHOO field development project. The project scope includes supplying OVLS for 2”, 5” and 9” rigid and flexible flowlines, with deliveries commencing in Q2 2023.
The Wahoo field is located in the Campos basin, block BM-C-30, with water depth of approximately 1,420 metres and is 40km southeast of Petrobras' pre-salt discoveries of the giant Jubarte, Caxareu and Pirambu fields.
