HOUSTON, TX – Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies (FOGT) was recently awarded a contract from a major oil and gas operator to deliver new compact flange technology for a 20,000-psi deepwater development in the Gulf of Mexico. To meet the project requirements, FOGT will provide a full range of sizes of their state-of-the-art SPO® 20k Compact Flange, which the Company has fully qualified to meet API 17-TR8 design requirements. The SPO® Compact Flange incorporates a compact dual-seal design for high fatigue, pressure and extreme temperatures up to 20,000 psi.
