HOUSTON – On February 27th, Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ Houston-based employees, family members and friends, participated in the 29th annual ConocoPhillips Houston Rodeo Run. For the first time, Freudenberg was a Gold Spur Level sponsor of the event, which allowed Freudenberg to be prominently displayed on all Rodeo Run promotional materials, signage, and giveaways.

The Rodeo Run is the kick-off event to the month-long Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo schedule. The event is completely supported by volunteers, allowing all registration fees from the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run to go to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Educational Fund, which provides college scholarships for Texas students. 

Through the participation of approximately 10,000 runners in the 5K and 10K race events, 55 of them from Freudenberg, the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run continued its tradition of making college dreams a reality for Texas students by raising approximately $350,000 for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (HLSR) Educational Fund. This brings the Rodeo Run’s 29-year total giving to $4.8 million.
