Houston, TX USA - January 20, 2015 – Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies is proud to announce that its Petroleum Elastomers–Houston manufacturing location has received the American Petroleum Institute (API) 16A license for the manufacture of Annular Packing Units. 

This license gives Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies the right to use the official API Monogram™ on Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ WellProtek™ Annular Units. 
The WellProtek™ product line is manufactured to API’s Q1 9th Edition quality specification and exceeds the test performance standards of API-16A.

WellProtek™ products utilize Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ internally developed, proprietary elastomers. Design verification tests performed in accordance to API-16A testing standards, and certified by a third party, included both low and high pressure complete shutoff (CSO) testing, low and high pressure pipe mandrel tests (fatigue testing) to maximum rated pressures, drift, temperature and stripping testing. All WellProtek™ Annular Packing Units are factory acceptance tested per API-16A requirements before shipment.
